To create a shortcut for shutdowns right on your desktop simply

Right click on the desktop in any open area.
Select New
Select Shortcut
Enter “Shutdown-s-t 00”
Click on the “Next” button
Enter a name of your choosing
Click the “Finish” Button
If you would like to create a reboot shortcut, simply:

Right click on the desktop in any open area.
Select New
Select Shortcut
Enter “Shutdown-r-t 00”
Click on the “Next” button
Enter a name of your choosing
Click the “Finish” Button

Create Shortcut for Shut Down

1.Right-click on Desktop

2.Click “New” and then select “ShortCut”

3.In the “Type the Location of the Item” type “%windir%\System32\shutdown.exe –s –t 0“



4.Click “Next” and type name of your ShortCut

5.Click “Finish”
